Ingredients:

1 tbsp. olive oil
- 1/2 white or yellow onion, finely diced
- 1lb. sliced baby bella mushrooms
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 2 cloves minced garlic
- 1 tbsp. thyme
- 1 tbsp. oregano
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tbsp. corn starch (optional)
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Melt the butter in a large pan, add the onion and cook until brown.
- Add the mushrooms and saute for 5-6 minutes or until mushrooms are browned.
- Reduce heat to medium low. Add garlic, thyme, oregano, and mix well.
- Add in chicken broth and increase heat to a gentle boil.
- Add the heavy cream and bring to a boil. Add in corn starch to increase thickness if desired.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
