Dr Pepper Chili

            Dr Pepper Chili

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 8hrs

Serves: 8

Ingredients:

  • 1lb Nolan Ryan Beef Ground Chuck 
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1 large green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 large red bell pepper, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced 
  • 12 oz can of crushed tomatoes
  • 1 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 16oz can of Dr Pepper
  • Shredded cheese, chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a medium skillet, add in ground beef, and saute until brown. 
  2. Transfer to slow cooker. Add in onion, green bell pepper, red bell pepper, garlic, crushed tomatoes, cumin, chili powder, and Dr Pepper. Stir. 
  3. Cook on low for 8 hours. 
  4. Top with your favorite garnishes and enjoy!
