            Cajun Beef Pasta

Ingredients: 

  • 1 lb. Nolan Ryan Beef 80/20 Ground Chuck
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 tbsp. Cajun Seasoning
  • 1 tsp. Paprika
  • 1 tsp. Thyme
  • 1 tsp. Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp. Garlic powder
  • 2 tbsp. Minced Garlic
  • 1 can diced tomatoes 14.5oz
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 1/4 cups heavy cream
  • 8oz. penne pasta 
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shaved Parmesan for garnish 

Instructions: 

  1. Season your ground beef with salt and pepper. Cook until brown. Drain any access fat. 
  2. Add in onion and garlic, cook until onion turns clear. Add in your spices until well combined. 
  3. Pour in diced tomatoes, beef broth, and heavy cream. Bring to a simmer and add in pasta. Simmer for 10 minutes or until pasta is cooked and sauce thickens. 
  4. Garnish with cheese and enjoy!
