Nolan Ryan’s All-Natural Beef Never Uses LFTB
Huntsville, Texas (March 12, 2012)- A recent ABC News report brought attention to the use of Lean Finely Textured Beef or LFTB, referred to as “Pink Slime,” by some beef producers as a filler additive to their ground beef products. The use of this ingredient is a common practice for many beef producers. However, at Nolan Ryan’s All-Natural Beef we never use LFTB in any of our products.
Nolan Ryan’s All-Natural Beef goes beyond USDA standards to produce All-Natural beef that never contains any artificial ingredients, additives or preservatives.
In addition, our cattle does not recieve any added growth hormones or antibiotic injections within 100 days of harvest, more than double the USDA approved protocol, which calls for animals to be free of antibiotics for only 30-45 days. As an extra measure, we always test our beef for antibiotic and pesticide residues.
By strictly monitoring these steps we can promise our customers a safe, nutritious and delicious product guaranteed to be All-Natural.
